Gabriel Sinescu is the author of two important works, dealing with tennis seen from brand new perspectives.
The first of them, "The Fourth Dimension of Tennis" (1996), deals with the use of the player's psychological power and is the result of years of research in this area by Gabriel. "The Fourth Dimension of Tennis" also explains Gabriel's own training method, devised over a period of more than 8 years.
The second book, "The Geometry of Tennis" takes a more mathematical approach to this wonderful sport, taking an in-depth look at the game of tennis through the perspective of geometrical relations and the way they affect the game; this theory aims to improve the player's performance from a strategical point of view.
,,The study of each level of the four specialization categories (physical, technical, tactical and psychological) creates the opportunity to identify each studied player through a so-called "genetic code", starting from the symptoms detected by this analysys.
The “affected level” is then identified and thre module or even the module sequence is the modified until the necesarry corrections are made. Through this analysys, based mainly on the cause-effect relationships, an equilibrium of the player's performance on each level is reached, helping his evolution, opening the oportunity to identify the troublesome aspects of his game and, last but not least, brings out the player's key strengths. This analysys conceived and applied as personal training method supervizes the efficiency of the trainer’s work, making possible any necessary intervention.
Concludng, we can say that this complex training system (devised over a period of over 6 years) starts with the relationship of the trainer-player common efforts and finishes with the analysys of the deposed effort. Its main goals are the the player’s evaluation and the efficentization of the trainer’s work.
The use of this system will be reflected in the player's results. This type of study is very userful in the analysys of the player's abilities, therefore facilitating the discovery of "energy losses" and, at the same time, helps the trainer find and accentuate the player's strong points.``
